Romer 3000i The Improved 3000i™ Series portable CMMs now incorporate design changes that improve ergonomics and arm rigidity. These arms continue being the world's most accurate. The 4 foot 3000i will measure to ± .005 mm (.0002 in.) using the Single Point Sphere Test. This performance makes 3000i arms well suited for tight-tolerance inspection, measuring and reverse engineering work in the aerospace, automotive, off-road, agricultural equipment and similar industries. 3000i™ arms are available in 4-, 6-, 8-, 9-, 10- and 12 foot measuring envelopes. Romer Stinger ROMER CimCore's NEW STINGER II™ portable CMM was designed for applications needing a low cost, portable measurement device for inspection or reverse engineering. The STINGER II™ incorporates enhancements that enable the 6 foot STINGER II to measure to ± .0006 in. The STINGER II™ is available with a 6, 8, 10 or 12 foot measuring envelope. This arm is ideal for inspection and reverse engineering applications in the metalworking, fabrication, woodworking, plastics, welding and computer graphics industries. GridLOK - a 3D Large Volume CMM This measuring and inspection system enables everyone to inspect large parts without the high cost, complexity, and slowness of a laser tracker or stationary CMM. The system uses small (5/8 ") diameter conical seats flush mounted in a concrete floor or steel plate at about three foot intervals. The conical seats are then certified by a laser tracker provided by ROMER. After that, operator simply touches any of the standard ball probes into three different conical seats and, magically, the portable CMM arm is locked into the common origin.This "lock-in" event takes less than 5 seconds and works even in the middle of a measuring sequence which is impossible to break up.

Linear Rail The 7th Axis Linear Rail increases the measuring range of CimCore portable coordinate measuring machines by up to 3.6 meters. This system utilizes a heavy-duty extrusion with linear guideways and a high-resolution linear encoder to provide the 7th axis feedback. The arm/rail combination allows continous measurement anywhere along its length - there are no fixed measurement points. The rail does not affect arm accuracy. However, the rail-arm combination will be slightly less accurate than a stand-alone arm. This system allows inspection of large parts, whole vehicles and assemblies. When combined with the six-axes CimCore articulating arm, the Linear Rail operates as a true 7th axis. The rail can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the arm can be mounted vertically, upside down or horizontally without re-calibration. Tube Inspection StationK CimCore's Tube Inspection Station™ is a system package that provides all the tools needed to inspect everything from hydraulic tubing to exhaust pipe. When used with the optional magnetic base, the CimCore system is the only portable tube inspection system on the market. The package consists of a six axes articulating arm coordinate measuring machine, a desktop computer and monitor, Windows® Supravision™ tube inspection software, an inspection table and a non-contact tube probe. This package will determine tube lengths, bend angles, tube spring-back and corrected bend data. The data, including both absolute and incremental length rotation and angle data, can be output in a variety of formats. CimCore's non-contact infrared tube probes are suitable for measuring from wire to 150 mm tubes. These intelligent probes are changeable on-the-fly without tools or the need to recalibrate. When used with the optional magnetic base, the CimCore Tube Inspection System can be taken to the workpiece to measure pipes, lines, hoses and tubes in place, thereby saving time and effort. Accessories range from inspection tables, rolling inspection stands, travel cases, adapter plates, work holding devices, workcenters and an extensive line of contact and non-contact probes.

Power Inspect™ is a Windows® program for inspection and reverse engineering. New expanded GD&T capability includes true position, perpendicularity, angularity, parallelism and concentricity. The user interface is "wizard" style, to easily guide the operator through the process. This package features a real-time graphical display with an easy-to-use interface. The software provides the ability to make section cuts and generate 3D curves for export. In addition, all geometric shapes (lines, curves, circles, cones, cylinders, etc.) can be created and exported. On-screen feedback and color-coded graphics allow immediate validation for each measured point. The software automatically generates fully customized Excel® reports. Reports and Excel templates can be made as simple or complex as required and can be tailored to suit all customer or quality requirements. When combined with ROMER CimCore's portable CMM, PowerINSPECT™ allows for rapid inspection of complex 3D parts and CAD-to-part comparison. PowerINSPECT Lite™ is a low-cost version of PowerINSPECT 2.2, ideal for those applications needing basic measurement, inspection and reverse engineering functions. New expanded GD&T capability includes true position, perpendicularity, angularity, parallelism and concentricity. The user interface is "wizard" style, to easily guide the operator through the process. This package features a real time graphical display with an easy-to-use interface. The software provides the ability to make section cuts and generate 3D curves for export. PowerINSPECT Lite™ does not provide the CAD-to-part comparison function nor the geometry explorer found in PowerINSPECT 2.2. Supravision™ is the premier software package for inspecting or reverse engineering plastic, rubber or metallic tubing using a non-contact infrared probe on a ROMER CimCore portable coordinate measuring machine. The software will determine tube lengths, bend angles, tube spring back and corrected bend data. Easy-to-use features include:
• integrated calibration and diagnostics with audible feedback to assist the operator
• clear, concise commands that make for a quick learning curve
• a graphic display with soft fixture measuring and inspection
• allows selection of features and operations by remote control using hand movement probe commands. No keyboard operation is required, allowing easy, one-person operation.
• supports a variety of tube data report formats, and data exchange capability with ROMER CimCore's Suprastuff™ and PowerINSPECT™ software packages.
